Artichoke Leaf Extract
The common artichoke (Cynara scolymus L.) is a plant belonging to the Asteraceae family, valued for centuries in the culinary traditions of Mediterranean countries. Its leaves are naturally rich in bioactive plant compounds, such as phenolic acids, flavonoids, and cynarin. The most characteristic and valued compound in the artichoke is cynarin, a compound belonging to the group of caffeic acid derivatives. Its content is an indicator of the quality of artichoke extract, and Lipo Repair uses an extract with a high 5% content of this substance.
The common artichoke has antioxidant properties, helps maintain normal blood lipid levels, supports digestion, and helps maintain a healthy liver and supports detoxification.
Fermented red rice
Fermented red rice is a traditional ingredient obtained through the fermentation of rice using selected strains of Monascus purpureus yeast. During this process, the rice grains take on a characteristic red color and a specific profile of compounds that form naturally during fermentation. One of the best-known compounds found in fermented red rice is monacolin K. The extract contained in Lipo Repair contains 1.5% monacolin K.
Sugar Cane Policosanol
Policosanol is a mixture of naturally occurring long-chain aliphatic alcohols most commonly extracted from plant waxes derived from sugarcane. It consists of several compounds, one of the most important of which is octacosanol.
The raw material has undergone purification and standardization processes, which allow for a specific content of individual alcohols to be achieved. In Lipo Repair, each serving provides 40 mg of policosanol, 60% of which is the most significant component, 1-octacosanol. The next most abundant components are 1-triacontanol (17%) and 1-hexacosanol (13%). Precise standardization of the raw material ensures a precisely defined amount of these components in each capsule, which is extremely important for the consistency of the supplement’s effects.
